Our advice session volunteers are responsible for collecting client information, conducting conflict checks and obtaining client instructions.  We require our advice session volunteers to have completed at least one year of their law degree.  We also conduct formal interviews to assess the suitability of applicants.

Practical Legal Training (PLT) Placements

We provide a limited number of formal PLT placements each year. As a general rule, we recruit our PLT students from our pool of ‘advice’ session volunteers.

Research positions

We sometimes require volunteers to assist with specific research projects. As a general rule, we recruit our research students from our ‘advice’ session volunteers.  We may also advertise specific opportunities, from time to time.

Solicitor Volunteers
